Neurogrid (neurogrid.cc) is a marketplace where clients rent GPU time to run AI models and hosts rent out their GPUs. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Account: your name and email, and your GitHub profile, since you sign in with GitHub.
- Payments: processed by Stripe. We keep Stripe's reference IDs, never your full card or bank details.
- Hosts: your GPU and machine specifications, and an approximate location (country and city) based on your IP address.
- Usage: how long deployments run and how many tokens they process, so we can bill clients and pay hosts.
- Website: pages visited on neurogrid.cc, using Vercel Analytics.
What we don't collect
- We don't store the content of your prompts or the model's responses.
- nrgrd, our terminal app, sends no data to us. It only talks to the endpoint you configure.
Where your prompts go
Requests to a deployment are processed on an independent host's machine. Whoever controls that machine could technically inspect what it processes, so don't send passwords, secrets, or confidential or personal data.
How we use it
To run your account, match deployments to hosts, bill, pay out, prevent fraud, and improve the site. We don't sell your data.
Who we share it with
Only the services Neurogrid runs on: Stripe (payments), GitHub (sign-in), Vercel (hosting and analytics), ipwho.is (host location), and the hosts that receive your deployment's requests. We also share it with authorities when the law requires.
Your choices
- Email support@neurogrid.cc for a copy of your data, a correction, or account deletion.
- Block analytics in your browser; the site still works.
- We keep data while your account is open, and billing records as long as the law requires.
Changes
We'll update this page and its date, and email account holders about significant changes.
