This manifest exists to state, plainly, the ideals, values and rules of the platform, so that the community we build stays centered on the people using it.

Neurogrid intends to be a platform that empowers people to both use and provide artificial intelligence. You do not need a data center. The main idea is to offer a marketplace where users with idle GPUs can share that computing power, and users who need language models do not have to rely on services that are expensive and hard to use.

Rules

A healthy community sets rules so every party involved benefits. Breaking any of the following warrants permanent suspension of the account:

  1. 01No malicious software used to manipulate, interfere with, or spoof the contracts between GPU hosts and inference users.
  2. 02No malicious activity with language models served from GPU hosts on the platform.
  3. 03No misrepresenting the hardware you contribute. Advertised capacity, supported models and availability must be real.
  4. 04No intercepting, logging or retaining the contents of inference that passes through your hardware.
  5. 05No using the marketplace to run inference that is illegal in the jurisdiction of either party.
